The Largest Chromosome

Description
 
Chromosome 1 is the largest chromosome in a human. It has about 246 billions base pairs.
 
This chromosome contains more than 2,000 genes that code for different protiens all throughout the body.
 
 
To the left are links to the a variety of of proteins that are coded for by the genes on chromosome 1 and disorders that arise from mutations of chromosome 1 genes.
